Gain Expert Status Fast

Article writing offers one of the best ways to become recognized as a leading expert in your field or niche. We all know that consistency is the best guideline when it comes to writing those articles; however, you also need to show your readers that you know what you’re talking about. How do you do that? Establish yourself as the expert in your article writing.

Too many authors try to promote themselves in ridiculous ways by writing on their websites how their book is a “must read” and contains the answer to all the reader’s problems. If you have to tell readers that, they aren’t going to believe you. Go find some legitimate testimonials from reliable people who will say those things about your book. You are not qualified to judge your own book because you have a vested interest in it.

Your name is Homer and you’re a wandering storyteller who travels from village to village telling a long tale you wrote about a war. You can usually count on getting a free bed and food from the villagers, but you now think you’re ready for prime time in the major Greek cities. You think long and hard about how to let the big city leaders know about your story and get them interested in hearing it. So you develop a differentiation statement. Most authors are not boring. But do remember always that the attention span of the searcher is very short. There are millions of competitors and competing websites, just one single click away. How-to books are shorter than books which focus on novels and stories. Make sure to create sections for different kinds of arrangements-for example, a chapter on Ikebana arrangement, a chapter on wedding arrangements, one on interior design, and so on. Do not make each chapter too long, so that it does not cause boredom and information overload. When you are writing the chapters, use your outline as a guide.

Any online marketer that makes huge amounts of money online, has a large subscriber list is a marketer who has been well established as an expert in their field. However, gaining expert status doesn’t have to involve money at all. It can come from the fact that people have learned to put their trust in you. Even writing articles can move you up to expert status pretty quickly. That’s the reason why article marketing is so heavily promoted because it is the one way that you can gain almost instant expert status. This is evident with article marketers who have hundreds of articles on sites such as EzineArticles, as well as articles on other article sites that have high volumes of traffic.
